:iconraritycryplz::my beautiful boutique...

My hand is half broken and I was sitting too long in the wrong position so my legs are also half broken.
I'm very sorry that it took so long, I go sick, was out of ideas. and wasn't in the mood to finish art.
Was only in the mood to draw humans for a long time.
I've never worked so hard on a background.
Like damn. Yes I used backgrounds from other artists (credit to whoever made them) but they weren't big enough so i had to draw the rest myself.
May my hand rest in peace.

Sweetiebelle found a new little friend. Rarity sure loves baby animals. :)

You know, for whatever reason I figured Scootaloo would've been that girl who likes spiders. Then again, I did think the same thing with Sweetie Belle. Anyways, that last panel made me laugh so hard I think my neighbors might've heard me. Overreactions are magic.

Reminds me of a pet spider my class had way back in second grade. We named him Jeff. He wasn't really a pet, more of a mama who needed a place to have her babies... 😬

Ehh... not really.

Spiders from Australia can be either large, venomous, or both. And I don't think Australian varieties exist in Equestria, much less within the reach of Sweetie Belle. :XD:

not really.

i live in australia and i havent even seen a spider in months

well, there was that one REALLY tiny one behind some old stuff in my room, but it was almost too small to see :/

You're lucky, then.

Spiders like that do exist in Australia, however. See this page:
tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php…

Find the section labelled "Real Life — Australia". Yes, Australia needed its own section.

If it was an Aussie species, it wouldn't have fit in a mere box.
Heck, it would probably be carrying Sweetie around rather than the reverse.

Exactly!

And spiders are far more tolerable than, say, cockroaches. Especially the ones that can hiss at you. Spiders EAT cockroaches.

I'm pretty sure much of the point of this whole "civilization" gig is to keep all of mother nature's bullshit OUTSIDE where we don't have to deal with it.

Perhaps for some people, but I try to take a neutral stance, whenever possible.

In my house, most of the spiders are content to stick to their secluded corners. And I have no issue with that; they don't bother me, and I don't bother them. It also means hell for less tolerable insects, which must contend with well established spider populations; hungry spider populations.

Ironically, this means that the insects are actually safer outside. No matter how much food this house might hold for an insect, I doubt that it's worth the trouble of trying to sidestep the "cobweb gauntlet", :XD:

Yeah, actually, I tend to put up with the spiders too, as long as they stay out of my way.
But then again, I don't live in ****ing Australia. The deadliest arachnid around here is the black widow, and they're both rare and reclusive.

True dat about Australia, the land of "everything trying to kill you".

And also true about black widows, as their name would suggest; a reclusive widow, right? The same can be said for brown recluse spiders, despite their potentially necrotic venom.

In fact, brown recluse spiders only typically become aggressive if they are exposed to certain types of pesticides; a sort "chemical rage", perhaps. Otherwise, nearly all bites are defensive, usually from accidental physical contact (always check your shoes).

All true, and yet, no matter what the reason, I'm always amazed by the fact that any arthropods will ever bite or sting anything some 5,000 times its body mass. It seems like the kind of instinct that evolution would have weeded out of them by now.
